Google Postmaster Monitoring & Gmail Reputation | CheckInbox

What you can monitor with CheckInbox Postmaster

CheckInbox turns Google Postmaster data into a clearer historical view for ongoing Gmail deliverability monitoring.

Domain reputation history

Review available Google Domain Reputation history and keep previously collected reputation data stored locally for longer-term comparison.

IP reputation visibility

Inspect available IP Reputation signals when Google provides them and compare reputation changes across the selected period.

Spam rate trends

Track user-reported spam rate over time instead of reviewing isolated daily values.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC performance

Monitor authentication success ratios reported by Google Postmaster and spot changes that may require investigation.

TLS and delivery errors

Review inbound and outbound TLS metrics together with Gmail delivery error rate and error-count trends.

Multiple Google accounts and domains

Connect multiple supported Google Postmaster accounts, switch between available domains and review historical data from one interface.

How to start monitoring

Your sending domain must already be available in Google Postmaster Tools for the connected Google account.

1

Open Google Postmaster in CheckInbox

Sign in to CheckInbox and open the Postmaster module from your customer account.

2

Connect your Google account

Authorize the Google account that has access to the domains you manage in Google Postmaster Tools.

3

Choose an available domain

Select a verified domain returned by Google for the connected Postmaster account.

4

Select the reporting period

Use the date-range controls to review recent performance or a wider historical period when Google data is available.

5

Review trends and investigate changes

Compare reputation, spam, authentication, TLS and delivery-error signals to identify meaningful Gmail deliverability changes.

Recommended usage

  • Review trends regularly instead of reacting to a single day because Google Postmaster data can be sparse and some dates may contain no provider data.
  • Use Postmaster together with Check, Scan and DNS Checker: reputation data explains only one part of overall email deliverability.
  • Keep historical data connected when possible so you can compare reputation and operational metrics across longer periods.
  • Investigate sudden changes in spam rate, authentication, TLS or delivery errors together with campaign volume, list quality and sending changes.

Important to know

Google Postmaster data is provided by Google and may be delayed, sparse or unavailable for some domains and dates. Legacy Domain Reputation and IP Reputation signals are shown while Google continues to expose them and should not be treated as permanently guaranteed metrics. CheckInbox stores previously collected history locally, but Postmaster monitoring does not guarantee inbox placement.
